The question was asked to rotortiller, it is his original post, and H2B does not have the earlier engine pol passages to lube through the intake port floor.

H2B lubes as a premix in each carb, 3, and one for all 3 crankshaft/lower end bearing setups.

3 hose pump on H2B, no premix at each inlet port, unless drilled into the cases/intake ports.

A 3 hose pump setup on an undrilled 4 hose setup, only lubes the lower end.

H2Tuner,

I know this is nothing more than a fishing expo, but for the benefit of hobby types this is what I did for converting 4 line to 3.

The converted oil system-specifically H2B to H2 or H2A.

The crankcases I did are drilled with a 7/64" drill to supply the intake oil jets.

Intake oil jets I manufactured (.037" or #63 drill) were pressed into each cylinder base. Stock H2 oil hole from a early cylinder I have, measured at.020" or #75 drill. I went slightly larger by .017" due to recommendations from an expert I trust.

I know you did not ask, but the hole from under the jet area to the intake port is the same as stock H2. I used wire gauge to size the same.

It was a simple conversion as I was rebuilding the engine anyway, however everyone knows it's pretty basic crap at that point. I have about 6000 miles on the conversion using the H1 oil pump and still no piston rattles.
