Checked the sources here and could not find help on this one.
Removed the circlip and tried to tap the bearing out from the rotor side.
Was going easy to not damage anything. First go at this upgrade, time to ask for help.
How are these bearings removed? Do I just need more hammer on the punch?
Not much to bite either. Does that spacer in between the bearings remove or is it part of the hub?
Thanks men.

The center spacer tube is meant to move a bit so you can get at the inner race. You may have to beat the bearing pretty good, just do it evenly as it moves.

A large socket makes for a good bearing "pusher" too.

John, figured I just needed some more elbow in it. Always best to ask first. Having it apart now, I see how the spacer floats with the axle removed.
Steve, thanks for the Manual link. I've never seen those, always used the Maintenance Manual. Sweet, descriptive, and detailed photos.
I can't believe I never stumbled across that before. I can see myself spending many hours in there.
My son steered me to YouTube and I used the method in the clip I attached. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F7Y6MKTpW70
A quick run to HD, under $3.00 and I was moving along with my task in under an hour. The method worked like a champ. As soon as I watched it, I thought that is just ingenious.
5/8" worked for the front axle on my year H1. If I use a different size for the rear, I'll edit and post that too.
Thanks for the speedy replies on this holiday weekend. Hopefully it helps someone down the road.
