Juha, thanks for getting me started with rebuilding the early H1 CDI units, and for your post. I actually removed the original transistors that you see on top of the B unit and installed two new ones. They are functional, and are part of the inverter that makes high voltage from 12V. How did you get the contents out of the A unit? I did it once, but it was anything but easy! |

One moment...i have to translate little with google  Gas burner but take it easy if you vant to spare the rubber parts. But it took a while beafore i fed up with it and test the gas burner but that was the crap. I think you can take out the rubber things around the cables beafore the heting. Then i leave the parts to zink/plate guys. Mounted...  Thanks again Juha |

Its from -70 but this is nearly what i get when i bought it .  Gasank from -71 so i found the 69 tank in germany (very expencive) and i have bought lot of things from ebay as usual  . But the best was that i found old papers so i can registred the bike when its ready (bought it without papers).Looks like this now.  Juha |

What a beautiful restoration! I had a new H1 in 1970, so it is good to see a re-build like this. My new 1970 H1 was not as good as your bike!
