The later model seal is available I got mine from purple haze. The only problem is you have to split the cases which isn't to bad. Gives you a chance to check everything out.

Another option is available from Redline Motorsports in the form of an aluminum spacer that positions the ball bearing release outwards the distance of the added width of that type of release (shown beside the seal that Dew refers to).

Larry is Da Man! He has a lot of neat stuff.

My next tear down is the seal and then I can get rid of the spacer I made (and the adjuster bolt I made like in Moo's video).

I got lucky awhile back and found a late style ball bearing one in a pile of stuff i bought. Then about 3 months later i found the flimsy retainer inside in nos form. I wonder if there's a way to reproduce that part as it seems like you can bend it only so many times to get the bearings out. :?:

You can use 13197-004. Kz650, Kz1000
The body of it is a little shorter .
You have to file or grind the 3 tabs down about the same distance to allow them to bend in the outer assembly.

You can take our special clutch release and you don't have to change anything. It fit's every model
and works great.

All the best from Germany

Nothing but good reviews of Ralfs acuators.
I decided to pick one of these up from Ned on the Canadian board.
