The bottom 2 get my vote???

Just to be clear, although I would love to take credit for it, the pic I posted is an NOS tank that was on eBay recently. I haven't painted my tank yet but as my post says, "I am planning to use their Shimmering Green and a set of RB's decals, with a little luck it may come out like this...". I posted recently asking about the correct color for an S3A. http://kawi2strokes.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=13&t=3141 I posted pics of 2 extreme shades of green on S3A tanks, both claiming to be NOS. The Duplicolor Metalspecs Shimmering Green comes out very close to this "dune buggy" version and most replies were in favor of the bright green.
The REAL purpose of my post was to coax Florida Steve to post pics of the great results he had with the Duplicolor Metalspecs on his KZ650. Come on Steve, let's see that Ocean Blue Krazy 650! I think it looks, as the Brits say, "the dog's dangly bits!"

Johnny, no offense taken, I actually was flattered that you thought that was my work. Like I said, I would be happy just to get close to that look. 8-)
On a separate note, do you have any full size pics of your avatar bike? I bought a 77 KH400 in Candy Emerald Green brand new off the showroom floor back in the day and it is still my favorite color scheme of any triple! Please, more info on the Jalapeno Green: brand, rattle can or spray gun, etc... I will eventually find another 77 KH400 for the right deal and the games will begin!

Cody or Mark once posted a tank painted blue years ago that looked great
Pretty sure it was rattle can with a very wet final coat of Y2K

I have tried a number of times to get decent gloss out of Krylon or Duplicolor but can't get rid of the orange peel
These days it seems the entire finish is in the clear coat as I can't find acrylic lacquer; back in the old days you didn't have to be a great painter and could wet sand and compound out the finish to be super glossy

Jim, the Bugman did a good sand and polish to his cool Honda-tanked H1. It's extremely shiny. Post the link, Jeff.

The Duplicolor lacquer buffs out super nice.

Last time I searched my local Auto Zone the clear wasn't lacquer; I should check again
Then again, things might have changed; the 70's enamel was not meant to be bufferd, or, maybe I suck with a rattle can
