Hi, thought i'de share my experience of PLASTIDIP for repairing badly cracked inlet rubbers. have an H1B and was dumped in the s't by a seller who sent me a nice cracked rubber (said it was good). rubber was badly cracked but not all the way thru in a number of places. cleaned it well and applied plastidip over 2 hours, about 20 coats. after about 10 coats the cracks suddenly started filling up, 5 more coats and the rubber looks like new and is strong, i haven' just put it on once and left it as am having fun sorting the carbs so is strong enough for on and off use. BRILLIANT STUFF. hope it helps

Keep us posted.... other folks that have tried it said it will dissolve when gas gets on it.

as stated, it wont last long unfortunately.

nor does silicone, nor does ANYTHING.

one of those parts you just have to bite the bullet on and buy new.

I bought some nice reproductions for my S3 and brand new clamps. Money well spent.

Share the name please Mr Moo.

I have a super nice (but old) air intake housing up at ebay right now, but when stressed, the rubber starts to show its age. No visible cracks but it starts to crack when twisted.
Good and solid and I am selling it with that fully disclosed, but I would like to pass the name of that rejuvinating paste if I could to the buyer.
No bids yet but 24 watchers.
All the stuff from this H2B is decent but sat in cardboard boxes for 2 years in the garage.
