Yeah, I know, replace them with stainless or buy mag wheels.
Not interested in relacing for powder coating.
Does painting them with a brush look like crap?
Too many projects requiring $$$ in front of this including college tuition
(stupid kid, a full scholarship would have helped the bike fund!)

If they aren't rusty, you can blast & replate them CHEAP. You'd still have to disassemble & re-lace though.

If you need to do something rather than replace or paint silver i would clean them up with emery cloth or wire wool then brush a clearcoat lacquer on to preserve the finish.That will look infinitely better than painting them with a color.
