| Post subject: | Muffler Issues |
This is the RH muffler from my H1D project bike. The internal dividers that make the chambers for the baffles have broken loose. Ironically, this is on the nicest looking muffler on the bike. I'm guessing the time, effort and expense associated with fixing the dividers makes this unit unsalvageable but I thought I'd post it up to see if anyone has any other thoughts. |

Get the separators back into place, they were spot welded at the factory, and use self tapping screws on the part of the muffler body you can't see, to hold them. This has worked for me on more than a few mufflers that had the separators come loose. There is no way to re-spot weld them back in place. |
