I ordered the right one today, I looked at a couple more parts breakdown on other sites, they are the same, bet that's not the first time that mistake has been made.

When you have the right parts, things fit right, another checkmark on the list. :D

What about the paint in the hi-lo headlight marks?

What color do I need in the hi/lo and on/off? didn't think about that, thanks for the heads up.

I've seen red paint in the hi-lo spots too, but I am not the one to tell you what's "correct" for each year.

Another thing on my list is addressing the head pipes, I think I could buy expansion chambers for what 3 nice head pipes cost, Has anyone tried the not so great looking chrome powder coat? I know it wouldn't look perfect but I'm on a budget build. My mufflers have a couple dings and scrapes but are in good shape.

I bought some headers for my H2 from lgarage on eBay and they are surprisingly good. Shipped quickly from Thailand. Nice and solid, good chrome. We'll see how they last.

I hope this link shows my purchase.

My favorite Christmas present arrived yesterday, rebuilt crank from Charlie, time to get this party started. Two things I've overlooked to order is engine seal kit and wrist pin bearings, any preferred vendors on these 2 items? Thanks, Buddy.
