So I pulled the caliper from an S3 I had here long ago and refinished it.
Put all the parts in a bag and just dug it all out to rebuild.
So, I takes another one off a KH400 here to use as a template for assembly.
Look at what one of the wells for the bolts holes looks like.
I didnt think anything of it, until seeing the difference between it and the stock KH400 caliper.

So needless to say, I will now refinish the KH caliper and use it.
I dont recall any large washer or anything covering the huge hole on the one side?
And there was nothing like that in the bag either.

At first glance, that looks like two surprised monkey heads.

HAHAHA NOBODY saw what was wrong with the monkeys face...

There are slugs or thick washer shaped spacers in the back side where the bolt heads sit.

Sonny Ive seen a real organ grinder on a stick, being played by an old Gypsy in NYC
back in the 60's and he had 2 monkeys... LOL
While the crowd gathered around to watch the monkey's antics, and fill his tin cup,
I am sure the guys "cousins" worked the crowd emptying pockets....
