i recently bought 3 brake caliper pistons from 2 different sources & brands & all 3 are a little taller then the original stock pistons, will this be a problem if i use them ? ( i need 2 more)

I don't think it will be a problem.... but that is guesswork.
I believe they are Z1 pistons.

the ones that I bought, were 1mm taller than stock.
if you use new pads and use the shims; they are tight.
I cut 1mm from mine.

Don't always believe what aftermarket vendors say are correct applications.... I guess you already found that out.
The KH are the same as Z1.

they are 1.2mm taller , if i remove the alum ring spacer from behind the pad with the screw they work better....what purpose does that ring serve ???

If so, that is to reduce/eliminate brake squeal.

HVC caliper pistons are good. There is a variation among vendors for the height dimension on replacement aftermarket pistons.
