I like it, that's my favorite H1 paint job.

I'll never understand why they decided not to give the H1 the same tail section as the S1, S2 and H2 for 72, that would make it even better for me... :? They even had 2 chances, B and C.

I don't understand why WE haven't done it yet. ;)

I think someone across the pond has done it, or maybe it was a 72 S2 with an H1 motor! (and "500" decals on the side covers) Anyway, it was a looker!

I thought this was odd and interesting. My original vin sticker was typically tattered up, so I removed it with a razor blade so I could replace with one of RB's fine replacements (which I've had for several years...). Underneath was the stamped MADE IN JAPAN, which I thought quite odd it being completely covered up by the vin sticker. MADE IN JAPAN is positioned just about smack dab in the middle of the headstock.

So I managed to dig up an image of an H1c and MADE IN JAPAN is positioned much closer to the vin part number, so that the decal clears it.

I wonder which position of stamping is more common with the early models that began using a sticker?

Most I've seen have been near center. I've not seen one that close to the VIN before.
