Tony O'Connor of Eldorado Motorcycle Seat Restoration in Australia is in the process of restoring my H2C seat and we've hit a small snag. Along with the seat I sent Tony was a spare Euro seat strap with buckles and hardware for H2B/C which was identical to the strap and buckles on an NOS H2B Euro seat I have here. I would like to add the Euro strap to the H2C seat and have a matching pair but Tony is not sure what I sent is correct and advises it looks different from the ones he has seen and installed before and used to have in stock for Kawasaki.

I searched for pictures of H2B and H2C on the Internet and indeed I did run across several pictures of H2B's and C's with quite different narrower straps which wrap entirely around the seat and appear to attach to the underside. I would like to reassure Tony the one I sent is correct so he will feel good about the quality of his work. Can anyone shed some light on this?

Thanks in advance, Greg

If you are on facebook, you might ask that question to the experts on "Original Kawasaki Triples Owners"

Phil Y'Bread is there, and he probably knows it.
