we can arrange that. I had a spare caliper adapter laser cut just sitting there. will need to do the rotor as well, but think I have another spacer laying around as well. it IS a bolt on.

thanks a bunch tuner. 3+ years in the making. I hope it is. just got tank lined last night as I had to modify it and fix a few pinholes (brazing). going to leave current paint (on tank, rest is already done, frames cleared) on till its all sorted then get it done. next up is wheels and fork rebuild.

Pinholes, what a pain in the "6" to get fixed. Often, too often, the holes are just the center of eroded metal behind them, and when heat is applied to worse scenario holes, they grow in size, melting the eroded area away. Almost easier in some instances, to either make a doubler metal, or, replace the entire section, lots of fabrication work, though.

I had to weld up the hold down area at the rear of my SR500 fuel tank when I built the bike, almost solid mount had literally ripped away from that and engine vibration, and erosion around the factory hold down bracket. I converted the mount to a rubber strap type, hasn't had a problem in 25 years.

I like that paint on the tank, I have an earlier 200, isn't nearly as nice paint scheme as what you have.

yeah, I like it too repaint will be same graphics, diff colors but I do like the blue. I ground out and brazed the spots, and then cleaned the tank w phosphoric acid and then neutralized it. I had to modify the bottm/back for mounting as well. (rubber isolated as well) however, I knew I was going to line it and caswell does a great job of small tiny holes, so I let the liner take care of the tiny ones w/using painters tape ont he houtside to kep any possible bleed thru. . it was down in the rear, RH side corner. shocker, right?
