Only under my clothes Barry :shh: :shh: :shh:
I am home safe and triumphant. Project RD starts on the 2nd kick cold. The bike has just over 9/00 miles :D :D :D . 5 hours and 50 minutes after we started, Mark fired it off.
Thanks so much to Mark and his lovely bride for having me and for all the hard work. Thanks to Phil, Young Dave, and Joe for rolling in like a team of surgeons dedicated to divesting the RD of it's disgusting stockness and installing all the new and rebuilt parts we had prepared. Sparks and fur flew, wire and gas was fed, side stand was relocated for the installation of Muillenium GP chambers, (a beautiful set of pipes), Dyna ignition installed and timed, Vintage Smoke rearsets are so worth the money and a bolt on with no mods, come complete with chamber mounting hardware (Thanks Nick!!!) They are absolutely perfect 8-) 8-) 8-). We also put in a fuel quick disconnect so the tank comes off without a hassle, my Ebay cafe seat. New coils, wires, and caps assured a good fat spark. The cleaned up a set of carbs was installed with the Uni filters, 260 mains and 30 pilots, needles in the middle. The tuning is spot on, thanks to Mark and Young Dave. Superbike bars and ebay's finest bar end mirrors were put on and the rebulit caliper, with new stainless steel pistons. Polished forks were installed, plus the new master cylinder and brake pads made it stop as well as go :D :D :D .
Young Dave was the first pilot as the clutch was stuck worse than Mark or me had ever seen. He is young and fearless and by that point I was old and tired... LOL It never did free up and we had to pull the cover to find much to our distress that the trans oil had some water in it we didn't see and the clutch was a mess. Mark went to the clutch parts box and in minutes we had a new extra plate clutch installed. It works perfectly. I will flush it a couple times with diesel and put new oil in it.
Power wheelies are on command in 1st and I picked the front wheel up twice in 2nd. 8-) 8-) 8-). We were the hit of the neighborhood after 4 or 5 passes breaking in the motor and trying to break the clutch loose.   We set the airscrews at 1.5 initially and then found 1.25 to be the ticket for the 30 degree traditional build complete inaugural run to Dunkin' for a caffeine and sugar upload followed by a wonderful Mexican dinner and cold cervezas for all. 800 plus miles round trip in less than 48 is taking it's toll on me, but it was the best weekend I have had in a VERY long time. Thanks again to all:

Fun time is over for now, snowstorm prep begins. Jesse and me are heading out to put the snow props under the shop roof and get fuel for the generator... then to work at 1400 and hopefully be able to leave and get home after work. Thanks again everyone!!!

Bike sounds really sweet. Love the rig to remove the clutch without draining oil. Looks like you have a keeper Tim. Mark, nice hair cut. Good job to all of you two stroke freaks. :D :e11

Not sure, I think so, I haven't had time to watch it yet. The bike really runs sweet. The plan is to have it ready for the Gap.

I was going to snatch the video, and run it through movie maker at 4X, but my program isn't working.

You can do it John!

Sorry Aylor I didn't have time to edit the video. I've been slaving over my girlie bike by myself. There is a donut shop just down the street from me if some of you ins would like to drop by and help. :D
